Produced by smallholder farmers in Sidama, this natural Ethiopian coffee grows between 1,950 and 2,150 meters, where cool temperatures slow cherry maturation and build complexity. Extended drying concentrates sugars while preserving clarity, creating a profile that balances soft fruit, rounded texture, and structure.

The Ayla Bombe washing station, operated by Testi Trading in Sidama, works with hundreds of nearby smallholder producers growing coffee on traditional garden plots. Coffee is often intercropped with food crops such as bananas and corn, supporting biodiversity and local food security while reducing reliance on chemical inputs.
