As easy to make as it is to drink, the Old Fashioned never gets old. Originally consisting simply of water, sugar, bitters, and booze, this cocktail is made for riffing. Our take on the Old Fashioned keep things fresh with the addition of Verve Nitro Flash Brew. The Nitro Old Flashioned, as we like to call it, is a coffee-loving twist on everyone’s favorite cocktail and the perfect drink to help ring in the new year.
Ingredients:
- 1/2 can Verve Nitro Flash Brew Coffee
- 2 oz. Bulleit Bourbon
- 1/2 oz. simple syrup
- 2 dashes orange blossom water
- 1 dash aromatic bitters
- 2 maraschino dark cherries
- Orange Peel and rosemary (to garnish)
Recipe:
1. In a shaker, combine orange blossom water, aromatic bitters, simple syrup, Nitro Flash Brew and bourbon.
2. Add ice, then shake vigorously about a dozen times.
3. Strain into your best looking glassware.
4. Garnish with maraschino cherries, orange peel, and rosemary.
5. Enjoy!
