STEP 1

Pre-heat the V60 and rinse the filter by pouring hot water over both with a mug or range server underneath.

STEP 2

Using a scale, place a small vessel on top, then tare before adding the whole beans. For a single serving, we'll be measuring out 25 grams of coffee.

STEP 3

Pour the measured whole beans into the grinder. Grind to medium size.

STEP 4

Empty the hot water from the vessel before adding the ground coffee. Place your setup on the scale, then tare.

STEP 5

Slowly pour 45 grams of hot water over the ground coffee to get the entire bed saturated. Start the timer, waiting 45 seconds before moving on.

STEP 6

Add hot water until the scale reads 130 grams. Wait until the timer hits 1 minute 30 seconds before moving forward.

STEP 7

Add additional hot water until the scale reads 250 grams. Wait another minute, until the timer reaches 2 minutes 30 seconds.

STEP 8

Pour hot water until the scale reads 375 grams. It should drip for another minute or so. Remove brewer and enjoy!

PRO TIP: Pair the dripper with a V60 Range Server. The multi-purpose vessel has helpful measure markings, acts as a stand for the dripper and brewed coffee server.
